Eid Mubarak to All...
This year it happened in Friday 26th October. As usual we begin with Eid prayer at the school field. It is sunnah of the prophet to held the prayer in the open space. After that, everybody greet each other, hug each other and say Eid Mubarak. It is the symbol of thankful to God, symbol of Glory to Islam.
Pilgrim at Mekah now completing their journey of Hajj today by slaughtering animal and people around the world will do the same. This ritual is called korban. But in Qatar it is not allowed to do korban in open public area except at the designated places, slaughter houses handled by a company called Mowashi. This is because the government is very strict on the hygiene.
Today, we Malaysian in Al Khor Community have a special occasion. We organize an Eid Adha gathering at Kampung Melayu (Block C206/207/208). We were making sate, nasi lemak, soto and lot of other menu sponsor by individuals. Many people were coming and everybody were very happy get together.
Meanwhile our friend were still in Mekah completing their Hajj journey. They were Hj Marod/Hjh Zariha, Hj Zaini "Gmiez"/Hjh , Hj Azarudin/Hjh Ina, Hj Jamal/Hjh Sharifah, Hj Mopped/Hjh Syam, Hj Zamri/Hjh Azra, Hj Wan Kamal/Hjh , Hj Leo Zarin/Hjh Nanie , Hj Rudie/Hjh Ani, Hj Afandi/Hjh
This year Saudi govt reduce the qouta to 1500 and last minute they increase to 5000. All Malaysian pilgrim were confirm their "invitation" on the last minute.
Alhamdulillah, we were still priviledged here in Qatar.
And my respect as well to Qatar Emir, Shiekh Khalifa Hamad Al Thani, for promising to develope Gaza and Palestine. http://aje.me/SkvoE2
